Vitamin E, a fat soluble vitamin and selenium are both antioxidants. They work together to help quench free radicals before they can damage cells. As a key antioxidant, Vitamin E plays an important role in supporting normal bodily growth and development.
The term vitamin E describes a family of eight antioxidants: (alpha-, beta-, gamma-, and delta-tocopherols and tocotrienols). Alpha-tocopherol is the only form of vitamin E that is actively maintained in the human body.
Vitamin E Complete with Selenium contains all eight molecules (4 tocopherols and 4 tocotrienols) in the vitamin E family, plus the trace mineral selenium for maximum synergy and bioavailability.
