Description
Nature's Sunshine High-Potency Grapine contains proanthocyanidins (PAC's) derived from both grape seed and Maritime pine bark extracts. Proanthocyanidins (PAC's) are considered a highly bioavailable, water-soluble class of flavonoids with unparalleled antioxidant ability.
Grape seed extract contains the most powerful proanthocyanidins providing a concentration of 95% proanthocyanidins. Extracts from maritime pine bark contain a rich source of proanthocyanidins, as well as other water-soluble nutrients. Pine bark extract yields a concentration of 85% proanthocyanidins.
As antioxidants, proanthocyanidins (PAC's) provide unparalleled antioxidant ability shown to be 50 times stronger than vitamin E and 20 times stronger than vitamin C. Proanthocyanidins (PAC's) also provide significant protection of collagen, the most abundant protein in the body.
Collagen is the primary material in functional fluids, mucus linings and connective tissue, including cartilage, ligaments, tendons and the lining of blood vessels. Proanthocyanidins (PAC's) help support collagen structures to keep the skin firm and helping to fight against free radical damage.

"GRAPINE combo of Grape seed and Maritime Pine bark extract. Started taking this many years ago. In the 80's. Discovered that it fixes piles too. Haven't had them in years. Recommended it to others who had piles and they had the same result. Also have noticed very good results with blood vessels in my eyes, and leg veins have decreased and have not got any worse over the years. So it does it's job looking after the walls of one's veins. I take 2 a day. Used to have the smaller dosage bottle and took 4 a day. High potency ones only half dosage. Have not checked if the formula has changed in the time. You can contact NATURE'S SUNSHINE for that, but it still works for me. Very happy. Keep hoping Healthpost doesn't discontinue it. So far so good. Thanks. Yvonne Dion"

"Have been using this product for several years now, and have introduced it to friends. Not only does it have beneficial effects on blood vessels in the eyes, it also has an amazing alleviation to a dreaded seasonal appearance of haemorrhoids. Since taking this product they have literally been non existant. Taking 20mg per 20kg of body weight seems to do the trick. Such relief is a real blessing. Continous use has been a real boon to me and others."
