Description

Dolphin Clinic Lavender True Essential Oil is useful for relaxation during times of stress. Can support the healing of cuts, burns, and stings. Antiseptic. Excellent all-purpose oil!

Fragrance notes:

  • Floral
  • Herbaceous 

Blends well with most other oils. Try blending with rosemary for an uplifting blend. With cedarwood for a calming and warming blend with woody note, or blend with ylang ylang for a romantic blend.

Directions

To make a simple bench spray blend 8 drops lavender, 10 drops lemon, 5 drops eucalyptus, 50ml water, 1 tsp baking soda, 3 drops liquid soap. Shake well.All essential oils should simply be blended in a carrier oil before applying to the skin. The dilution rate is usually 5 drops of essential oil blended into 10ml of carrier oil (carrier oils such as almond, apricot, avocado, jojoba, etc.).Use: 4-8 drops in a vaporiser or diffuser.
Precautions
  • Never ingest essential oils.
  • Never use them undiluted on your skin.
  • If accidentally ingested do not induce vomiting, follow with olive oil or milk and seek advice from a health professional.
  • Avoid contact with eyes - flush with water.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Never use essential oils topically on babies under 3 months old (except under the guidance of a qualified therapist). If using topically with children, halve the amount of essential oils used (e.g. 2 drops per 10 ml).
  • Avoid continual repetitive use - not more than 4-5 days in any week, unless in severe circumstances or under the guidance of a healthcare professional.
  • Lavender should be avoided during pregnancy.
