Description

Dolphin Clinic Frankincense Pure Essential Oil is useful for calming the body in times of stress and worry. Can also support healthy lung function and relaxed breathing. Useful when used appropriately on the skin to help tone and appearance. Good for older skin. Often used in meditation.

Blends well with all citrus oils, myrrh, sandalwood, and geranium.
Ingredients

Botanical Name: Boswellia carterii

Plant Part: Gum Resin

Extraction Method: Steam Distillation

Directions

All essential oils should simply be blended in a carrier oil before applying to the skin. The dilution rate is usually 5 drops of essential oil blended into 10mls of carrier oil (carrier oils such as almond, apricot, avocado, jojoba, etc.).

Use: 4-8 drops in a vaporiser or diffuser.

A calming blend for use in vaporiser or diffuser is 2 drops frankincense, 2 drops sandalwood and 2 drops bergamot. 
Precautions

  • Never ingest essential oils.
  • Never use them undiluted on your skin.
  • If accidentally ingested do not induce vomiting, follow with olive oil or milk and seek advice from a health professional.
  • Avoid contact with eyes - flush with water.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Never use essential oils topically on babies under 3 months old (except under the guidance of a qualified therapist). If using topically with children, halve the amount of essential oils used (e.g. 2 drops per 10 ml).
  • Avoid continual repetitive use - not more than 4-5 days in any week, unless in severe circumstances or under the guidance of a healthcare professional.
  • Avoid during pregnancy.
