Description

Dolphin Clinic Clove Bud Essential Oil is useful for brightening the spirits and restoring balance to the mind. Clove oil has many uses - it helps create a relaxing atmosphere and supports a clear head. Great to use topically when mixed with a carrier oil for massage to support healthy circulation thanks to its warming properties. Great to vaporise heading into winter when time inside increases and our immune system requires additional support.

Directions

All essential oils should simply be blended in a carrier oil before applying to the skin. The dilution rate is usually 5 drops of essential oil blended into 10mls of carrier oil (carrier oils such as almond, apricot, avocado, jojoba, etc.).

Use: 4-8 drops in a vaporiser or diffuser.

Clear the air with this blend in a vaporiser or diffuser using 4 drops clove, 3 drops cinnamon and 2 drops NZ manuka, or blend 40ml vodka and 60ml water into a spray bottle for a room spray.
Precautions

  • Never ingest essential oils.
  • Never use them undiluted on your skin.
  • If accidentally ingested do not induce vomiting, follow with olive oil or milk and seek advice from a health professional.
  • Avoid contact with eyes - flush with water.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Never use essential oils topically on babies under 3 months old (except under the guidance of a qualified therapist). If using topically with children, halve the amount of essential oils used (e.g. 2 drops per 10 ml).
  • Avoid continual repetitive use - not more than 4-5 days in any week, unless in severe circumstances or under the guidance of a healthcare professional.
  • Avoid during pregnancy.
