BioBalance Iron Absorb Plus C has been thoughtfully formulated to support healthy Iron levels, assist energy levels and wellbeing. Our Iron is chelated to natural rice bran protein to support absorption of Iron and be gentle on the digestive system. Combined with natural Vitamin C from Acerola, providing 100% RDI of Vitamin C from a wholefood source, and Citrus Bioflavonoids to complement and enhance the Iron bioavailability.
Iron is an important mineral for women and teenagers to consider due to monthly blood loss and increased requirements on the body while growing. Iron is available in differing rates of absorption and can be difficult for the body to absorb. Our iron has been chelated to a natural protein from Rice Bran, supporting optimal absorption. The body readily uptakes amino acids from protein through the digestive system, so binding an Iron salt to it can support absorption of the Iron.
Vitamin C and Bioflavonoids are well-known for the way they assist absorption of non-heme (non-meat sources) of Iron. A wholefood source of Vitamin C, Acerola provides the whole complex molecule of Vitamin C rather than the stripped back ascorbic acid version.
Bioflavonoids are found in citrus fruit and support healthy circulation. Bioflavonoids are supportive antioxidants in the body and help to keep blood vessels healthy.
Our high-dose Iron provides 24mg of elemental Iron, and meets the Recommended Daily Intake (RDI) for both Iron and Vitamin C. This product is suitable for vegans.
