Description
Absolute Essential Lemon (Organic) has positive, uplifting qualities and supports clear thinking, humour, and decisiveness. It has cleansing and antibacterial properties and works well mixed with Bergamot to make a refreshing room spritzer or used in the diffuser.

A few drops on a warm compress may be used to support healthy circulation. Diffuse to cleanse and refresh air, and add a few drops to natural cleaning solutions to upgrade fragrance and efficacy. 

Lemon is a species of small flowering evergreen tree. It is thought to have first grown in Northeast India, Burma or China. Genomic studies suggest it's a hybrid between bitter orange and citron. This essential oil is cold pressed from the rind. Lemon extractions have been popular for centuries for a broad variety of applications and its uplifting, zesty aroma. 

Fragrance notes:
The depth of fresh, ripe lemon peel with an uplifting and zesty citrus bite.

Blends well with:
Orange Sweet, Rosemary, Vetiver, Bergamot.
Ingredients

Citrus Limonum (rind, cold pressed, certified organic, Argentina)

Naturally occurring constituents: Limonene, beta-Pinene, gamma-Terpinene.
Directions

For topical use:Blend with a carrier oil before applying to the skin, 5 drops per 10ml of carrier oil (i.e. almond, apricot, jojoba.)

For diffuser or vaporiser:Add 4-8 drops of essential oil as per instructions of device.

Air purifying:Lemon oil may be used to help cleanse the air. Have 5-10 drops diffusing during ills and chills season in the home or at the office helps to keep the air fresh.

Feet treat:Rejuvenate tired feet after work by adding 5 drops of Lemon oil and cup of Epsom salts to a foot bath. With massage this method also supports the body's natural lymphatic drainage processes. Repeat as required.

Circulation:To support healthy circulation, mix 5 drops of Lemon with 10mls of Sweet Almond oil and massage regularly to the affected area.

Precautions
  • Never ingest essential oils.
  • Never use them undiluted on your skin.
  • If accidentally ingested do not induce vomiting, follow with olive oil or milk and seek advice from a health professional.
  • Avoid contact with eyes - flush with water.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • All essential oils should be blended in a carrier oil before applying to the skin. 
  • Never use essential oils topically on babies under 3 months old (except under the guidance of a qualified therapist). If using topically with children, halve the amount of essential oils used (e.g. 2 drops per 10 ml).
  • Avoid continual repetitive use - not more than 4-5 days in any week, unless in severe circumstances or under the guidance of a healthcare professional.
  • Citrus oils are slightly photo-sensitising so avoid sunlight after application to the skin.
  • May cause irritation to sensitive skin.
  • Should not be used by people with citrus allergies.
  • May irritate skin if used in the bath or in combination with hot water.
  • Dilute in milk first if used in the bath.
  • Do not use before exposure to the sun.
