Source Naturals Magnesium Malateis a compound of magnesium and malic acid. This formula provides support for optimal muscle function as well as supporting cardiovascular health and energy. It also supports the body’s stress response and sleep cycle. Malic acid may also provide support for general bodily comfort.
 

Magnesium is an essential mineral, playing a key role in over 300 enzymatic reactions in metabolism. The reactions include those involved in the Krebs cycle (one of the body’s energy production systems), energy storage, the breakdown of fatty acids, protein synthesis, DNA metabolism, the relaxation of voluntary and involuntary muscle tissue, neurotransmitter activity, and hormone regulation. Magnesium is stored primarily in the bones and plays a role in the absorption of calcium by the bones. Two common signs of magnesium deficiency are muscle tightness and tension.
Ingredients

Serving size: 3 tablets

Magnesium (as magnesium malate) ...........425 mg

Malic acid

(as magnesium malate & malic acid)..........2.5 g

Sodium......................5 mg

Other Ingredients: stearic acid, modified cellulose gum, acacia gum, silica, and magnesium stearate. 
Directions

Take one to three tablets daily with meals.
