To use: Suitable as a dry rub for any meat of your choice and chicken using your regular BBQ/Smoker methods. The following recipe is for prime rib on the bone:Texas Rack serves 4.2 Cattleman's style steaks on the bone, 1 tbsp prepared mustard sauce (American), 2 tbsp Texas Rack Rub mixed with 1 tbsp or your substitute and 1 tsp salt (optional).

Coat the steaks with prepared mustard and rub in spice mix.
Allow to stand for an hour and to reach room temperature.
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees -Pre-heat a cast iron or heavy oven suitable frying pan.
Lightly spray the steaks with oil and place in the frying pan and cook for 2 minutes then turn and cook the other side for 2 minutes, place in the oven and continue to cook for about 15 minutes or until a meat thermometer reads 72 degrees (adjust to how you like it).
Lift out and rest for 10 minutes covered lightly with foil.
Slice the steaks and serve with salad and chips or vegetables.
