Description

Absolute Essential Rosemary Cineol (Organic) is a really versatile essential oil with antiseptic and tonic properties that is thought to purify and support focus. Uplifting and lively, it offers a great way to complement an atmosphere of alertness and creativity. 

Use it to support focus during study or work time. Its clear, vital tones can be used to support easy breathing.

Rosemary Cineol also supports healthy circulation with massage and is useful for use with muscle and skin therapy. 

An evergreen shrub with fragrant, narrow leaves and white, pink, purple, or blue flowers. It is native to the Mediterranean region but can tolerate cooler climates. Its first recorded mention dates back 5000 years and its reputation is well documented since then, with strong, vibrant depth as a culinary aromatic.

Fragrance notes:

A woody pine-needle freshness but with a rich underlying sweetness. A hint of citrus and evergreen

Blends well with:

Basil, Bergamot, Peppermint.
Ingredients

Rosmarinus officinalis cineol (Leaf/flower, distilled, certified organic, France)

Naturally occurring constituents: 1,8-Cineol, alpha- & beta-Pinene, Camphene, Borneol, Borneone.
Directions

For topical use: Blend with a carrier oil before applying to the skin, 5 drops per 10ml of carrier oil (i.e. almond, apricot, jojoba.)

For diffuser or vaporiser: Add 4-8 drops of essential oil as per instructions of device.

Alertness: The vital, clear tones can be used to create an atmosphere to wake up tired senses. Diffuse into your space to create an environment conducive to mental focus. You add to a diffuser or infuse a tissue. Particularly suitable as a driving companion. Avoid using after 3pm if you are a sensitive sleeper.

Muscles: Rosemary is an excellent option for massage following vigorous exercise. It can be used to create a functional bath or diluted for massage.
Precautions
  • Never ingest essential oils.
  • Never use them undiluted on your skin.
  • If accidentally ingested do not induce vomiting, follow with olive oil or milk and seek advice from a health professional.
  • Avoid contact with eyes - flush with water.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Never use essential oils topically on babies under 3 months old (except under the guidance of a qualified therapist).
  • If using topically with children, halve the amount of essential oils used (e.g. 2 drops per 10 ml).  Avoid continual repetitive use - not more than 4-5 days in any week, unless in severe circumstances or under the guidance of a healthcare professional.
  • Can irritate the skin. Dilute well.
  • Avoid during pregnancy.
  • Don't use it if you have epilepsy or high blood pressure.
