Description
Absolute Essential Lime (Organic) is the strongest of the citrus oils with a bold, bittersweet aroma. 

The uplifting scent of lime can be used to support an atmosphere for action and clear thinking. It has cleansing, antiseptic qualities and a host of qualities that can be used in respiratory care and air purifying. Great for creating a refreshed and energised environment. 

Lime, or Key Lime, is a popular, small green fruit from the Citrus family, originating from tropical Southeast Asia and South Asia. With greater volumes of sugar and acid than lemons, limes have become globally popular for their use in cuisine, perfume and aromatherapy. The cold-pressed rind extraction is also broadly known for its restorative, and antiseptic properties.

Fragrance notes:
Lighter and sweeter than Lemon but also more intense, bright and tart.

Blends well with:
Lemon, basil, patchouli & jasmine.
Ingredients

Citrus aurantifolia (cold pressed, rind, Sri Lanka)

Naturally occurring constituents: Limonene, gamma-Terpinene, alpha-Terpineol.
Directions

For topical use: Blend with a carrier oil before applying to the skin, 5 drops per 10ml of carrier oil (i.e. almond, apricot, jojoba.)

For diffuser or vaporiser: Add 4-8 drops of essential oil as per instructions of device.

Air antiseptic: Add 5 drops daily to a diffuser to create healthy air balance to a sick room or office. 

To support positive thinking: Use Lime (organic) to create an uplifting atmosphere that is conducive to a positive mindset. It may be especially suitable for people prone to apathy or worry. Add few drops to a diffuser.

Energised, refreshed atmosphere: Add 5 drops to a diffuser.

Add 3-5 drops to a spritzer to refresh spaces.
Precautions
  • Never ingest essential oils.
  • Never use them undiluted on your skin.
  • If accidentally ingested do not induce vomiting, follow with olive oil or milk and seek advice from a health professional.
  • Avoid contact with eyes - flush with water.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Never use essential oils topically on babies under 3 months old (except under the guidance of a qualified therapist). If using topically with children, halve the amount of essential oils used (e.g. 2 drops per 10 ml).
  • Avoid continual repetitive use - not more than 4-5 days in any week, unless in severe circumstances or under the guidance of a healthcare professional.
  • It may increase photosensitivity, avoid the sun with use.
  • Avoid during pregnancy.
