Description
Absolute Essential Eucalyptus Australiana (Organic) is an invigorating and lively oil that has been used for centuries to support healthy breathing and congestion. 

It has stimulating, cleansing qualities that have a useful application on the body, and also makes a great domestic cleaner.

Eucalyptus radiata, also known as the narrow-leaved Eucalyptus, is a native to south-eastern Australia. The tree grows up to 50m tall and prefers cooler or wetter habitats. Distillation of the leaves is known to have strong antiseptic properties. It has long been used by indigenous communities in Australia.

Fragrance notes:
Camphorous, slightly minty scent that is sharp and highly pungent.

Blends well with:
Peppermint, Lavender Spike, and Thyme Thymol.
Ingredients

Eucalyptus radiata (leaves, distilled, certified organic, Australia).

Naturally occurring constituents: 1,8-Cineol, Limonene, alpha-Terpineol, alpha-Pinene.
Directions

For topical use: Blend with a carrier oil before applying to the skin, 5 drops per 10ml of carrier oil (i.e. almond, apricot, jojoba.)

For diffuser or vaporiser: Add 4-8 drops of essential oil as per instructions of device.

Sinuses:Add 5-10 drops to a steam inhalation and breathe deeply for 5 minutes to support normal respiration and easy breathing. Eucalyptus has antiseptic properties, as well as a deep penetrating aroma, to support clear respiratory tract and easy breathing.

Respiration:To ease congestion of the throat and chest, add 10 drops to 20 ml of massage cream or carrier oil and apply three times a day around the throat, back and chest. Especially beneficial at night-time to support sleep.

Fabric Softener:Add 5 drops of Eucalyptus oil to your wool hand wash and your jumpers will come out soft and smelling fresh. Or add 10 drops to the rinse cycle in your washing machine and all your clothes will feel softer. Use as required.

Precautions
  • Never ingest essential oils.
  • Never use them undiluted on your skin.
  • If accidentally ingested do not induce vomiting, follow with olive oil or milk and seek advice from a health professional.
  • Avoid contact with eyes - flush with water.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Never use essential oils topically on babies under 3 months old (except under the guidance of a qualified therapist). If using topically with children, halve the amount of essential oils used (e.g. 2 drops per 10 ml).
  • Avoid continual repetitive use - not more than 4-5 days in any week, unless in severe circumstances or under the guidance of a healthcare professional.
  • Eucalyptus can irritate the skin - dilute well.
  • Eucalyptus should be avoided during pregnancy.
