Gluten Free products have raw ingredients that do not include the protein gluten. Gluten is found in wheat, rye, oats, barley and their derivatives. Gluten free products have become very widely available as the popularity of a Gluten Free diet has grown.

Gluten free options can however be loaded with sugar, additives and preservatives and in some cases are not a particularly healthy. The highly processed gluten free foods may be worth avoiding.
