Weleda has always been a familiar and trusted presence in our home, from childhood through to today.

I’ve been lucky enough to visit the Weleda gardens in Hawkes Bay and see their ethos in action. It’s a magical place, and I’m always impressed by how Weleda truly walk their talk - staying grounded in their founding principles while continuing to innovate.

Here are a few of my favourites, from classic staples I wouldn’t be without to some lovely recent additions to the range. I hope you find something here to enjoy.

1. Skin Food

I do a lot of gardening, and this is a saviour for my hands. It also makes a great intensive overnight face mask.

Weleda Skin Food is a deeply nourishing, intensely hydrating whole-body cream that restores and protects the skin. Its award-winning formula has been around since 1926.

2. Skin Food Body Butter

This body butter has a lovely, whipped texture and a fresh, uplifting scent. It absorbs quickly and keeps skin nourished all day - my hands-down favourite winter body moisturiser.

Weleda Skin Food Body Butter provides intensive care for very dry skin, leaving it velvety soft with long-lasting hydration.

3. Calendula Baby Shampoo & Body Wash

So many sweet bathtime memories are tied to this product. I love the gentle, tear-free formula.

Weleda Calendula Shampoo and Body Wash softly cleanses while maintaining moisture, giving delicate hair and skin the kindest care.

4. Hypercal Healing Cream

This soothing cream is excellent for supporting wound healing - especially for kids who spend a lot of time outdoors and inevitably collect scrapes and grazes.

Weleda Hypercal Cream is a traditional herbal formula for the family first-aid kit, helping to soothe and support the healing of cuts, abrasions, and minor wounds.

5. White Mallow Face Cream

The best thing I’ve found for soothing and nourishing irritated skin. Any red patches or flare-ups in the family, and this is our go-to.

Weleda White Mallow Face Cream gently wraps the skin in a calming, protective layer, helping to soothe, hydrate, and relieve itching.

6. Arnica Massage Oil

I rub this into aching, tired legs at the end of the day - especially during the kids’ football season - and use it to help relax our shoulders at night. I swear by arnica, and the subtle lavender scent makes this feel like a calming ritual.

7. Everon Lip Balm

A true classic. My mum always had one in her bag, and now I do too - along with my daughter. Simple, effective, and completely natural, the beeswax gives lasting protection so you’re not constantly reapplying.

8. Pomegranate Hand Cream

Between gardening sessions and endless kitchen clean-ups, my hands take a hammering. I usually avoid scented hand creams, but this one is an exception - the fragrance is sweet and bright without being overpowering. Most importantly, it works, keeping my hands noticeably softer and smoother with regular use.

9. Love Shower Cream – Rose

I do love any product that can elevate a daily must-do into something more enjoyable, and this one does exactly that. The 100% natural scent is beautiful, and it leaves skin feeling soft and lightly moisturised.

10. Smoothing Night Cream – Wild Rose & White Tea

A newer addition to my routine, and one that’s here to stay. I wake up with skin that still feels soft and nourished. Like so much of the Weleda range, it’s also great value for such a high-quality, effective, and truly natural product.

It’s special having these Weleda products woven through the everyday moments of family life - they’re gentle, effectiveand made with real care and integrity. Whether you’re rediscovering old favourites or trying something new, I hope these picks bring a little extra nourishment to your daily rituals.
